Multiple people have asked to see my eBay feedback to see if I was a good candidate to buy from/trade with and I was wondering what people think when they see it (I have no problem sharing that information; my username is lilredss0287). No one has said anything to me about it, but I’ve been wondering what people must think when they see my sales history.  I’ve sold stuff above retail price before and I make no apology for that.  I don’t START my auctions above retail price, 95% of the time I start much lower.  I hope you all understand it’s not always the sellers fault that the prices go so high!  As sellers, we can’t control how much someone is willing to pay.  Just because an auction ends like 3x more than the retail price doesn’t mean we mean to rip anybody off.  They are adults making conscious decisions about how they want to spend their money.

I know a lot of us are frustrated with the price of some Monster High dolls being so high these days, but I just wanted to remind you all that not every seller wants to rip you off.  Just saying.

I always check the starting price of the auction, or if there’s a buy it now option. Also check to see how many items they’re selling. They may have low price, but if they have multiples of the same doll, I’d be wary. Make sure you do too before you accuse someone of scalping.
